Authors Guidelines

In the online conference, all oral and poster presentations must be prepared in advance.

For the Oral and Poster abstracts accepted:

a) Oral presentations: the authors must upload a video with a 15-20 min presentation and a flash presentation (up to 3 slides) file (Power point or PDF) by November 17. It will be available one week prior to the Congress Dates for all participants for visualization. During the Conference, each oral presentation will have 10 min for discussion: 3 min for the flash presentation plus 7 min for Q&A.

b) Poster presentations: the authors must upload a PDF file in a Poster format (1 page) and a flash presentation (up to three slides) file (Power point or PDF)  by November 17. The poster file must not exceed 10 MB, and will be available one week prior to the Congress Dates for all participants for visualization. During the Conference, each poster presentation will have 10 min for discussion: 3 min for the flash presentation plus 7 min for Q&A.

Important

Only papers that are presented at the conference will be published in the Book of Abstracts of ICR 2020. To avoid “no-show” in the conference, only papers with the speaker registered (and with payment confirmed) will be in the Conference Program. Also, the paper files must be uploaded before November 17.

The videos and poster files of all papers accepted and included in the Program will be accessible in the Congress Platform for the confirmed registered participants, one week before the Conference.

Upload for Oral presentations:

The oral presentations must be prepared using some software of video making. A few suggestions of free and paid software are given below, but other options can be used as well. The video of each accepted paper should last between 15 and 20 minutes. It is not necessary that the author appears in the video; only the slide presentation itself needs to be displayed together with the oral exposition, which must be delivered in the English language. After the video is prepared, it should be uploaded using the appropriate link for each symposia (see below).

By November 17, the authors must upload:

a) A video with a 15-20 min presentation. The video must be in the mp4 format or in ppt(x), and must not exceed 200 MB. It will be available one week prior to the Congress Dates for all participants for visualization. Please don’t forget to include your e-mail in the video so that any other participant can contact you at any time.

b) A flash presentation (up to 3 slides) file (Power point or PDF), to be presented at the oral sessions during the Conference.

c) During the Conference, each oral presentation will have 10 min for discussion: 3 min for the flash presentation plus 7 min for Q&A.

d) The video and flash presentation must be uploaded through the link below. Recall that each symposia has a different link and you must submit the files to the symposia your paper was accepted, using the following format for the files names:

i) Video with the presentation: VI-XXX, where XXX is the three-digit Paper ID (e.g. VI-999).

ii) Flash presentation slides: FP-XXX, where XXX is the three-digit Paper ID (e.g. FP-999).

The Paper ID number is the one that appeared in your acceptance letter (or when you submitted the abstract).
